Diffy and Diffy Pro are our own, closed-source applications. They are built on a few open-source components, listed here with their licences and where to get their source code.

Each component stays under its own licence. Nothing in the Diffy licence agreement limits the rights these licences give you over these components. Copies of every licence text below are also installed with the app, in the licenses folder of Diffy's installation.

Your rights under the LGPL. Diffy uses these libraries unmodified. They are installed as separate files — the PySide6 folder and the Qt6*.dll and *.pyd files in Diffy's installation folder — and are loaded at run time, not compiled into Diffy's own code.
You may replace them with a compatible version, including one you have modified yourself, and you may reverse engineer Diffy to the extent needed to debug such a modification.

If you would rather receive the exact source code from us, email support@redicon.pk. We will provide it for at least three years after the version was last distributed, at no charge beyond the cost of physically providing it.
