RedIcon exists because two jobs kept eating whole afternoons. Deploying a static site meant re-uploading nine hundred files to change four. Checking a USSD menu export meant scrolling two windows in parallel and hoping. Both problems had tools; none of them were good enough to stop the swearing.

Neither product collects analytics. Neither requires an account to run. Both are built so the headless core, the command line and the window are the same program wearing different clothes, because a feature that only works in the GUI is a design mistake.
